1991 – Today: Head, Histocytopathology Laboratory, Prefecture Unit of Health, of the Institution for Social Insurance (I.S.I.), Thessaloniki Greece.
1991 – Today: Part owner and managing director ISTODIEREVNITIKI S.A, Histocytopathology Laboratories, founded in 1963 by my father, also a pathologist.
2002 – Today INTER-BALKAN MEDICAL CENTER, Largest Private Hospital in Thessaloniki, which ISTODIEREVNITIKI covers on contract regarding all surgical pathologies.
2001- 2006: Senior advisor for laboratory medical services to the Vice Commodore for Health and to the Director of Health Services of the Institution for Social Insurance main public insurer in Greece, operating 104 laboratories nationwide.
TOPIC OF MAIN INTEREST
Developed special interest in urologic pathology and more specifically prostate and bladder cancer, during the 1996 European School of Pathology (EScoP) postgraduate training seminar on «Urologic Pathology». Turin, Italy.
Has monitored developments on these topics rigorously since then by following international literature and by participating in numerous seminars, courses and lectures.
Handles all prostate and bladder material in his pathology practice parallel to his routine material assignment.
Has been invited to lecture on prostate and bladder cancer several times including the Ioannina University Courses in Pathology, organized by Prof. Niki Agnantis, and EScoP Courses in Belgrade, for several times, organized by Prof. Jovan Lole Vasiljević.
